Kari's Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday to my sweet friend! A few of us gathered to celebrate Kari's birthday at J. & J.'s on tues. We all had a great time, especially after I got over the mortifying embarrassment of running around town with a big, red, velcro curler stuck in the back of my hair. It took the cute young waitress at J. & J.'s to inform me of my fashion fopau. I swear the older I get the more I realize how much I am like my mom and that in spite of it all, is a treasure to me.

I love my friends and we all had a great time. Many laughs are always around when we get together!

Tahoe Trip 2009

Friday we went up to Lake Tahoe for a few days with Ken and Dana and had a great time. I was a little worried about the weather because we had heard that thunder storms were a comin but it turned out to be really nice, just a little cooler than I like for June. We played frizbee, tennis, golf, bowling, bike riding, miniature golf, laying in the sun, climbin on rocks and even a little twenty one in the evening with some rolled nickels. Chris started out with $4.00 and had a big loss of $2.30 by the time we called it quits. We did keep busy, just the way I like it! Bert came up on Sat. and got in on our bike ride, it was great and I am so thankful that Ken and Dana invited us up to share in their fun. You guys are great, thanks so much for including us.

Jacky's Birthday

I know that I already "blogged" today but I feel like I should get to "blog" again because I am WAY behind on blogging and keeping up with all the wonderful things that have been going on in my life lately.

Tonight we celebrated Jacky's birthday. She had invited all of us girls over, thinking that she was going to bless us with a "panty party". She had said that she had picked us all out a special pair of panty's but us girls decided that since her birthday is so close, we would bless her instead and make the get together about celebrating her. It is amazing to me that seven grown women, can laugh and have so much fun together, even over something as silly as a bunch of sexy underware. We are such a bunch of goofs and I love my friends more than I can say. I can't imagine my life without you crazy people in it! Thanks for a great night!!!!!!!!!!!

Scot's Birthday

We had planned on going on a wine tasting excursion for Scot's birthday and he was looking forward to it so much. Due to various reasons, one of which was a very bad sore on his toosh, we ended up not being able to go. So, the second best thing was to bring the wine tasting to him! As usual, being with them is always a "TREAT", no matter where we are. Lisa made some great ore derves, Jacky made the best homemade pesto pasta and salad and the wine was over the top! I tried to become a little more educated with the wine but I do believe it is hopeless. Scot seems to have faith in me, that I can be taught, but I really do have my doubts. Thanks guys for an awesome night of laughs and good food and hears to another great year for you Scot!

Tara and Justin's wedding

Tara and Justin tied the knot this past friday at the Sunol Country Club in Pleasantan. It was a beautiful wedding also and the fun was flowing with everyone there. As usual, my fun level was high and I danced with any and all who would take me on! The food was great, the friends are always fun and the setting was beautiful. They had the ceremony outside by the lake with the palm trees blowing in the breeze. I was so thankful for their sake that the rain held off. I had taken my umbrella just in case. We stayed at a great place in Pleasantan and then got together with the new bride and groom and some friends for a wonderful breakfast on Sat. morning before we left. New lives are being joined everywhere I look lately. I guess its the season........
